My CleanView Bagless Power Trak vacuum does not have any power. What should I check?
Answer: Make sure the power cord was plugged into a working outlet. If it was, unplug the machine and try the following.
Reduced air-flow from dirty filters or from clogs in the hose will put greater stress on the motor, increasing the possibility for overheating.
- Check the Upper-tank, Pre and Post-motor filters for debris. Clean if dirty. The black filters can be washed in warm water and mild soap. Ensure the filters are dry prior to using them again.
- The large hose can be cleared of clogs by removing the hose from the back of the machine. Using a broomstick handle, push any dirt or debris through the hose.
- The lower hose can be cleared by first removing the screw and then lowering the hose for cleaning.
