BISSELL Garage Pro - Light indicator remains yellow
Answer: - The light will turn yellow if there is restricted air flow. Check for clogs, check filters, and make sure the tank is empty.
- Make sure the hose is connected properly to the inlet on the machine.
-Remove the hose from the inlet, turn on the power to check for suction at the inlet. If there is suction, there is a clog in your hose. If the clog is near the top of the hose (the end that hooks into the machine). This should attach hose to the suction inlet and turn the power on. This should dislodge the clog by sucking the debris. If the clog is contained near the bottom of the hose, remove the wand or tool. Attach the hose to the bower outlet, and turn the power on. This should dislodge the clog by blowing out the debris. If the clog is not removed, completely remove the hose from the machine, find the clog by hand. Squeeze and then shake the hose until the debris dislodges.
- If there is no suction at the inlet, make sure the tank is not full.
- Make sure the dirt tank is installed properly. Check assembly of the upper and lower portions. Correctly position and secure into place by making sure the latches on both sides of the machine are hooked correctly into the upper portion, and handles are locked in the downward position.
-Make sure the filters are clean. The filters should be cleaned every 15-30 days, depending on usage. To clean the filters, shake the filter over a trash can to release any loose debris. Use a damp cloth to wipe inside and outside of the filter. Thoroughly air-dry before replacing back into the machine.
- Check suction inlet for clogs-unplug the machine, and remove hose to check inlet.
-Check the blower outlet for clogs- unplug the machine, and remove the hose to check the outlet.
