How do I know when I need to change my filter?
Answer: The filter changes from a green and white speckled appearance to a solid block of blue color to indicate when it is time for a replacement. The filter should also be replaced if it appears to be cracked.
The filters for the Steam Mop series and the Steam 'n Clean II Series 1865 are the same filter and can be purchased from BISSELL Consumer Services either online or by calling 1-800-237-7691 Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. ET or Saturdays from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. ET.
The replacement filter for the Steam 'N Clean Series 1860 is no longer available.
