My Steam Mop is leaking water between the water tank and the filter. How can I correct this?

Answer:
  • Make sure the thin black o-ring is between the insert and the tank, and the cap is tightly closed.    Check the tank and cap insert for damage. If needed, a replacement cap insert assembly can be ordered from BISSELL Consumer Services either online or by calling 1-800-237-7691 Monday through Friday from 8 A.M. to 10 P.M. or Saturdays from 9 A.M. to 8 P.M. ET.
  • Make sure the tank is securely pushed onto unit.   Check the filter for cracks or damage. Replace filter if needed.
