The float in the collection tank is activating when the tank is not full when using the dry vacuum side. What can I do to correct this?

Answer: - Empty any liquid from the collection tank. It is best to dry vacuum by starting with an empty collection tank. - Turn the machine off so that float drops down and then try using again. If problem persists, a replacement tank lid with float can be ordered by contacting BISSELL Consumer Services at 1-800-237-7691, Monday through Friday from 8 A.M. to 10 P.M., or Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., ET.
