My Spot Lifter Cordless Deep Cleaner does not hold its charge for a full five to seven minutes as indicated in the User's Guide. What can I do to correct this?

Answer: Repeated short uses of the SpotLifter may reduce the running time of the battery. Allow the machine to run down completely, then recharge the machine for a full 24 hours. You may need to repeat this process two or three times to reset the battery. If you continue to experience difficulty, please contact BISSELL Consumer Services at 1-800-237-7691 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. or Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET.
