The Powerdrive on my Self Propelled machine does not seem to engage. How can I correct this?

Answer: Please try the following to correct the issue: • Make sure the Powerdrive Knob is in the “ON” position. The self propelled feature will not engage without the knob being in the “ON” position. • Push the upper handle in as far as it will go to feel the most impact. If the handle has not fully engaged, the Powerdrive the feature will not work. • Please be aware the Powerdrive is only functional on one wheel. The wheel on the left hand side, as you are standing behind the unit, is the only wheel propelled by the power drive system. If the machine is still not functioning properly, If the machine is still not functioning properly, please contact your local BISSELL Authorized Service Center for additional assistance. To locate your nearest BISSELL Authorized Service Center, go to the BISSELL Homepage at: http://www.bissell.com. Select the "Customer Service" tab at the top of the page and then select "Service Centers" from the drop down menu. Enter your zip code to perform your search. You can also locate a Service Center by phone, 24 hours a day, by calling 1-800-237-7691 and choosing option #1.
