My Self Propelled ProHeat machine sprays continuosly. How can I correct this problem?

Answer: Please try the following suggestions to get your machine working properly: Before you begin, please unplug the machine from the wall outlet. • Turn the Powerdrive knob to the “OFF” position and remove the upper handle. • With handle removed, locate the black, spring loaded trigger valve from behind the unit. When looking down on the valve, it should be aligned so it appears to be square. If the valve is misaligned it will have a more diamond shape to it. • Straighten the valve to the square shape and reinstall the handle. If the machine is still not functioning properly, please contact your local BISSELL Authorized Service Center for additional assistance. To locate your nearest BISSELL Authorized Service Center, go to the BISSELL Homepage at: http://www.bissell.com. Select the "Customer Service" tab at the top of the page and then select "Service Centers" from the drop down menu. Enter your zip code to perform your search. You can also locate a Service Center by phone, 24 hours a day, by calling 1-800-237-7691 and choosing option #1.
