My brush stopped rotating. What could be wrong?

Answer:  Please unplug the machine from the outlet. Check the belt for damage by removing the sole plate under the machine. There are 6 screws to remove. Remove the belt cover on the non-cord side. Slide the brush out. If there is any damage to the brush or belt, the parts can be ordered by BISSELL Consumer Services either online at http://www.bissell.com under the Parts and Accessories tab or by calling 1-800-237-7691, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. or Saturday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET.
